One project done

Do you have three cookbooks and recipes written on various papers that are plopped in a pile that you have to search through to find the recipe you want? Or forget which cinnamon roll recipe you made last time that turned out really well? Well, I took care of this problem for myself. I'm not the first to do this, but I took all the recipes that I do use and typed them up nicely and put them in one cookbook. Now it's all in one place! How convenient. It's aptly called

A Good Mom Moment

This morning I went to the cupboard to take my, ah, we'll call them my happy pills. I realized that I didn't have any more and said, "Oh, my pills are gone." Dakotah asked, "What are your pills for?" I told her that they helped me to be a good mom. She replied, "But you're already a good mom." Thank you Dakotah. It's nice to hear that sometimes.

In other news:

Colby had a couple of friends over to play, Brenna Brown and Bernice Hansen.
We had fun with them!
(At the very beginning of the video watch Brenna, the girl in the middle, do her old man look!)
All these kiddos are about a month apart.

Elder Holland

Yesterday we had a special stake conference with Jeffery R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. I absolutely loved it!! His talk was so wonderful and encompassed all individuals. My favorite part was when he blessed the entire congregation. I was blessed by an apostle of the Lord. It was so amazing being in an intimate setting with him. These last couple of weeks have been so difficult for me. Being there and listening to Elder Holland speak just took all that away. I feel able to continue on. It was a wonderful experience.

Better Late Than Never

Halloween pictures in November? Sure!
We were in Idaho two weeks ago and the girls were able to spend time with their cousin, Grace. Here are the kiddos posing for a halloween pic while I take the picture with my flash off. Nice.

My cousin had identical twin boys just a week before we went. The girls didn't have to wait for a turn to hold a baby; there was one for each of them! I had to wait for my turn, though.

Whoa!! Who's that huge baby in the center? Having Colby next to brand new newborns is a harsh reminder that he is getting bigger!

Colby and Clay match. Didn't do it on purpose, but thought it was cute.

Both of my sister-in-laws on my side of the family are expecting boys!!! I'm so excited that Colby will have some boy cousins to play with that will be close to his age. Fun times for the future!
